INCIDENT/ INFORMATION
On 12-17-11 at approximately 0130 hrs. Off. Stephanie Sparks and OFC. Kacie Keesecker were on routine patrol in the area of Key Parkway and Old Camp Drive. The officers observed a White Chevrolet travelling in front of them. A routine check of the registration revealed the registration was suspended for failure to comply with emissions testing. The vehicle was stopped in the 7-11 parking lot at Old Camp and Rt. #40. When contact was made with the driver, Flores, the officers detected the faint odor of burnt Marijuana from inside the vehicle. OFC. Conover responded with his K9 partner DAK and conducted a sniff of the vehicle. The K9 alerted to the odor of CDS inside the vehicle and Flores was placed under arrest pursuant to the K9 alert. When Flores exited the vehicle the odor of suspected Marijuana became very prevalent, all remaining occupants were removed from the vehicle at that time. The resulting searches of the occupants and vehicle uncovered Marijuana, Pills and paraphernalia from both the car and some of the passengers. Three of the four vehicle occupants were placed in custody and transported to Central Booking for charges and processing.
