[ARCHIVED] Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest

On 4-23-12, members of the FPD Drug Enforcement Unit made a traffic stop for a traffic violation in the unit block of N East St. During the business of the stop, a police K9 positively alerted to the presence of the odor of a controlled dangerous substance. Upon further investigation, the passenger, later identified as Norris Eugene Hart (08/07/1981) was found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana packaged in such a way as to indicate an intent to distribute. Hart also had an open arrest warrant from Prince George's County. Hart was arrested and taken to Central Booking.
