INCIDENT/ INFORMATION:
CRIME ALERT
The Frederick Police Department is issuing this Crime Alert due to an increase in the passing of counterfeit bills at a number of commercial businesses both in Frederick city and Frederick county. There have been a number of counterfeit cases being investigated directly associated with large department stores in the area. During this holiday season please be cognizant of this type of criminal activity and continue to use the training provided to your staff by your business to uncover these types of crimes. If anyone has any information regarding the passing of counterfeit money please contact Det. Holler at 301-600-6388.
