[ARCHIVED] traffic stop leads to CDS charges

On 02/22/2013 at approximately 1240 hours Officer Meyer was on routine patrol in the area of Maryland and Virginia ave. Meyer observed a driver of a vehicle whom he knew to be previously suspended. He had dispatch run the individual and they confirmed the suspension. A traffic stop was initiated on the vehicle and the driver was arrested. Search incident to arrest a bag containing several individually wrapped crushed Percocet and syringes were located in the driver’s pants pocket.
