On today's date the Frederick Police Department made an arrest for destruction of property.
On Thursday January 10, 2013 at approximately 0945 hours officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to 100 block of Willowdale Drive for the report of a destruction of property in progress. A complainant advised that someone was breaking out the windshield to his vehicle with a folding chair. Upon arrival Officer Antczak located the suspect, later identified as Mbaye, Mansour Alain (B/M/2-13-1990), walking away from the vehicle. Officer Antczak detained the subject and spoke with several witnesses, who all confirmed that Mbaye grabbed a folding lawn chair and smashed the windshield of a parked vehicle. Officer Antczak placed Mbaye under arrest and transported him to central booking, where he was awaiting a hearing before a District Court Commissioner. The arrestee’s information and charges are as follows:
