A planned power outage has been schedule by Potomac Edison for the vicinity of # 3 to #27 West All Saints Street in order to repair a severely leaning power pole in that area.

Planned Power Outage to Affect Portion of West All Saints Street

Frederick, MD -- A planned power outage has been schedule by Potomac Edison for the vicinity of # 3 to #27 West All Saints Street in order to repair a severely leaning power pole in that area. The power outage is scheduled to begin at approximately 8:00 AM on Wednesday, December 14th and continue until approximately 8:00 AM on Thursday, December 15th. Impacted households and businesses will be directly contacted by Potomac Edison.

Residents impacted by the planned power outage can contact Mike Spurrier, Director of the Frederick Community Action Agency (FCAA) at 301.600.3955 or at mspurrier@cityoffrederick.com to determine what type of assistance they may require during the planned outage.

In addition, West All Saints Street between South Court Street and South Market Street will be closed to traffic from 7:00 AM Wednesday, December 14th until approximately 4:00 AM Thursday, December 15th. A detour will be in place for motorist.

Frederick City Police and Emergency Services are aware of the scheduled power outage and will coordinate logistics accordingly.
