On today's date officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to the report of an armed robbery near Westwind Apartments off Hillcrest Drive.
On Saturday December 22, 2012 at approximately 2146 hours Off Chiaravalloti of the Frederick Police Department was on routine patrol when he was flagged down by a subject in the area of Westwinds Apartments. The victim advised that he was making a food delivery in that area when he was approached by three younger black males and demanded that the victim give them his money. 2 of the suspects displayed what appeared to be handguns. The suspects took off with the victim’s money and food order. The suspects fled toward Hillcrest Drive on foot. An extensive search of the area by police units and a police K9 did not locate the suspects. The victim was not injured during this encounter.
The first suspect was described as a black male, approximately 15-16 years of age and with a medium build. This suspect was wearing gray sweatpants/sweatshirt and had black framed glasses. The second suspect was described as a black male, approximately 15-16 years of age and with a medium build. This suspect was wearing black pants and a black sweatshirt. The third suspect was described as a black male approximately 16 years of age with a medium build. This suspect was dressed all in black clothing.
