Detectives with the Frederick City Police Department investigate an armed robbery of an individual in the 1700 block of Rosemont Avenue.
On November 13th, 2012 at approximately 15:22 hours a male victim stated that while walking to the local convenience store he was robbed at gunpoint of a sum of U.S. currency. The victim stated that he was walking in an alley headed towards Sheetz on Rosemont Avenue when a black vehicle pulled into the alley. Two black males exited the vehicle and approached him from behind and told him don’t move, don’ turn around. The victim stated that an object was placed in the center of his back and he believed it was a handgun. They took from the victim, his jacket and a sum of U.S. currency.
The victim stated as they left he observed three black males in the vehicle. He stated that one of the males had dreads and the other was wearing a black baseball cap. This incident continues to be an open investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Forrest at 301-600-6219.
