Explorers Post #153

Officer Bremer Officer Richard Mark Bremer Number C153
E.O.W. 10/23/08
Explorer Post Number 153
America's hope for the future lies in the youth of today.

Philosophy

This philosophy led the Boy Scouts of America to develop its Explorer Division for career-oriented young adults aged 14 through 20. Sponsored by the Frederick Police Department and chartered annually through the Exploring Division of the Boy Scouts of America, Frederick Police Explorer Post 153 was established to introduce young adults to all phases of law enforcement. Explorers have the opportunity to assist the Frederick Police Department at special events and other activities. In addition, Explorers can broaden their understanding and firsthand knowledge of the challenges and job skills involved in their community's police department. Although Post 153 is law enforcement oriented, Explorers are volunteers and do not serve as police employees, sworn or civilian.
