Street Parking

Garage Parking

There are five public parking garages available throughout offering convenient, affordable parking options.  Explore the garage maps (including ADA accessible options), payment methods and programs here.

Municipal Lots 

The City of Frederick operates three municipal parking lots, Carroll Creek surface lot, the MARC train lot and the North Market Lot. Learn more here.

Residential Parking

Special Parking Programs

The City of Frederick is proud to offer several parking programs to encourage visitors to our vibrant downtown district, including Park and Shop, free Holiday parking, and Courtesy Ticket Program.  Learn more here.

Holiday Parking

Thanksgiving Day marks the start of free holiday parking.  Free holiday parking includes Frosty Friday (the Friday after Thanksgiving) and the entire weekend.  After Thanksgiving weekend, every weekend from 8 a.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Monday through New Year’s day, parking is free at meters and in parking decks

EV Charging Stations 

The City of Frederick now have EV charging stations active at four of the city parking garages:

  • Court Street: 4 charging points (all on first level)
  • Carroll Creek: 4 Charging points (all on first level)
  • W. Patrick: 6 charging points (all on first level)
  • E. All Saints: 6 charging point (2 on first level. 2 on second, and 2 on the third level)
