The Frederick Police Department is excited to announce a new program initiative, the Resiliency and Wellness Group is dedicated to fostering a healthy and resilient department. With the belief that a strong and supported workforce leads to better community service, the RWG strives to provide resources, training, and support to enhance the overall well-being of our agency.
Mission Statement: To empower and support the Frederick Police Department family through comprehensive resilience and wellness programs, fostering an environment of strength, balance, and continued service to the community.
The Resiliency and Wellness Group will work closely with FPD’s sworn and civilian employees to assess their wellness needs and develop targeted initiatives. The goal is to create a positive and supportive work environment that promotes physical, mental, financial, and emotional well-being. The group collaborates with various stakeholders, including FPD Command Staff, to prioritize and implement strategies that enhance employee wellness.
