Covid-19 Field and Court Permit Process and Application
CITY FIELDS and TENNIS COURTS
Registration is now open for 2021 Spring Season (March 1-July 31st).Beginning March 1st (weather permitting), our fields and tennis courts will be available for team and organizational use. HOWEVER, there are several qualifiers to be able to use those facilities. We will be asking all organizations and teams using our fields and courts to outline their plans on our new Return to Play Special Request Application for following all Maryland Strong Road Map to Recovery guidance and the CDC’s guidance for youth and amateur sports. This new Return to Play Special Request Application MUST BE FILLED OUT, submitted, and approved prior to any permitted use.
All users MUST complete and submit a new application each season at the link below. One complete packet to be submitted per organization, which includes all age group/divisions. Fields will be assigned based on 2019 Spring historic usage. Please signup online on the City's home page for the City's field closure alert system.
It is important that you read all information, and submit one complete application. This expedites the process for all parties. No one is to take the fields/courts without a valid Certificate of Insurance submitted. Permits will not be issued until all information has been submitted. No information is kept "on file" and must be submitted each season.
If your organization utilizes a shed or concession stand for any purpose (sales, storage, etc.), you MUST submit a shed and/or concession stand agreement for each location. This is to accompany your application packet.
- Please go to link below and complete the proper application with ALL relevant attachments. One complete application per organization including all divisions/age groups.
- Your application request will be reviewed by staff. Goal is to issue permits by end of March.
- Once you receive approval of your special request and any modifications that we may ask of you, you will be allowed to use your requested date/s.
